Great vets. Highly recommended.
If you have a large dog, especially a German Shepard, then DO NOT go to this vet. Both times I have been with my German Shepard they have been awful towards him, treating him like he is a vicious dog when all he has ever dog is give a couple of little barks at them and with them even making comments towards me as his owner. Will never be going back. I also know of other people with larger dogs that have had a similar experience.
Our first week with our new puppy, wrangled the kids and puppy into the car and off to the vets we go for a health check. As it was our first time at STVH I totally drove past the clinic without realising. By the time I turned around, got the kids and puppy out of the car, in the rain, and got into the office we were 7mins past the appointment time, only to be told by reception that because I was late they had CANCELLED my appointment and that I'd have to wait 45mins before the vet was available because I was over "20mins" late. Looked at my phone, by then it was 8mins after. I couldn't believe it. Even though I pointed out the time difference I was told they could do nothing as they had cancelled the appointment. I can't vouch for the vets, but the customer service is ATROCIOUS. Would not recommend this clinic, they obviously don't need the business. Luckily there is another vet in town.
Very caring facility with dedicated vets. Staff always willing to oblige to cover each pet's individual needs.
