Wow, such a rude and disrespectful woman working in the office. Asked politely after a shower and if I could do some laundry perhaps, and her answer was that its not a laundromat and I could just check in if I wanted any of that. We have travelled all over Australia, and always go for showers at caravan parks, this is the first time we get such treatment. Wouldn't have been very difficult to say, "sorry, we don't provide that service". Should be ashamed of herself!
It's good, however you are packed in like sardines when it's full. Nice swimming hole. Access to Huon river for kayaks. Amenities top notch. Fire pits. Daily show for the kids. Plenty of space for kids to ride. Quiet at night.
Excellent caravan site with large grassy plots, well maintained sites, clean facilities and friendly staff. Great for kids, especially the Tasmanian devil show - Rowan know how to put on a fun show.
How green is my caravan park! What a beautiful place to stay! Platypus and trout in the river, stupendous views, good facilities, visiting coffee van each morning and visiting fish and chip van from Van Gough! We stayed and left, returned and left again and its such a welcoming place with lovely people!
Huge area of wonderfully manicured lawns along the river suitable for swimming. Dogs allowed though under strict control because of the free-ranging crooks and ducks and ( contained ) Tassie tigers. Feeding show at 4pm daily. Wonderful and courteous staff. Only lacking shade as the trees are thin on the ground and shortish. Thanks Rowen and Gary.
