In January of 2017, we had the great pleasure of staying at the Huon Bush Retreats. Set in the heart of some beautiful Aussie bush, this was a highlight of several stays in Tasmania. We stayed here and we stayed out in the wilds of Western Tassie, and both were exceptional experiences that stay with one for life.Not to be missed, the Huon Bush Retreats will tune you into nature as few other venues can. Well worth any effort to get there.
Lovely and secluded camp sites, staff were more than happy to help with charging portable electronics, toilets were clean and tidy, showers were fantastic after a day of riding, on our first night we saw a spotted quoll! Lots of wallaby's and a fantastic view of the stars at night (no light pollution).My only gripe was I had too much luggage on the bike and couldn't get up the hill the first time but subsequent times were fine, just gotta keep the revs up!
